Johnny Manziel is one of the big names that is buzzing around this NFL Draft. He is being talked about as the top overall selection in the draft, but that hype has not been nbought by former NFL quarterback Ron Jaworski. The ESPN analyst was doing a radio interview and he said that he would not select the quarterback in the first 3 rounds of the draft:
“Manziel may fall. I’m not crazy about him, to be honest with you. I’ve only looked at five games. I wouldn’t take him in the first three rounds. That’s my opinion. It’s incomplete right now. But he has not done a whole lot to me.” – Jaworski
Jaworski doesn’t even think that he will last in the NFL. He says that he won’t even last 3 games with the style of football that he plays:
“He’s a random quarterback who likes to get out of the pocket and make plays with his legs,” Jaworski said. “In the NFL, he won’t last three games playing that style. He’ll get hurt. He took a lot of vicious hits at A&M in the last two years.”
Interesting opinions from the former quarterback. There are a lot of people that likely disagree with him on that opinion. We will see how he fairs once he gets in the league.
