The Philadelphia Eagles are locking up their players long term deals today. They locked in Riley Cooper on a 5-year deal and also have locked in Jason Kelce on a 6-year deal. The deal is worth $37.5 million and $13 million of that deal is guaranteed. Kelce could be in Philly for the next 7 years snapping that ball at center.

Kelce will be among the league’s top paid centers despite not getting elected to a Pro Bowl in his short career. He could get there down the road (if the Pro Bowl still exists).

The Eagles have made sure to lock down a lot of their players on offense. Kelce with this deal. Cooper with the 5-year deal. They signed Jason Peters yesterday on a deal. Who will be next on the list? Will the team be able to lock in Jeremy Maclin next? He would be the next priority on the list and the two sides are negotiating, but nothing seems close at the moment.
