Riley Cooper will not be dipping out of Philadelphia any time soon. He just locked in with the Eagles for 5 years on a deal that could make him $25 million. $10 million of that deal is guaranteed.
He had a fantastic season and showed the Eagles that he is a player that fits into their system perfectly.
This is much better news than he had last offseason when he was caught on camera at a Kenny Chesney concert dropping some racist comments on a security guard. He came back strong and the team was happy for him to put that moment behind him.
Cooper was one of the best receivers entering the free agent market and was going to get some love in free agency, but not sure if teams would have paid him that same amount of money. Cooper was solid for the Eagles and was a perfect fit for them.
