Russell Wilson wants to join “Dancing with the Stars”
Russell Wilson is a busy guy. Between being a star and Super Bowl winning NFL quarterback, joining the Texas Rangers for spring training and having numerous endorsements, you’d think Wilson might take a break sometime. But no.

According to The Seattle Times reporter Joshua Mayers, Wilson has plans to join the cast of ABC’s hit reality show “Dancing with the Stars.” Having an athlete or two on the show is customary, though usually they are retired. If the fleet-footed Wilson were to join, you have to think he’d be the odds on favorite to take home the grand prize.
It’s no secret that Wilson dreams big. Just yesterday he said he’d like to own a professional football or baseball team, but his “Dancing” aspirations just may be his most outrageous (in a fun way) wish yet.
Your average fan base would probably be irked by a comment like this, but Seattle isn’t your average fan base. Coming off a dominant Super Bowl win and poised to defend the title next season, Seahawks fans can only sit back and enjoy their young, charismatic star QB as he uses his offseason to fulfill his non-football list of accomplishments.
So good luck with dancing Russell. Us football fans won’t be watching you, but we’ll cheer for you anyway.
