The Buffalo Bills could be a team that is interested in the services of Michael Vick this offseson. Vick could have a number of teams knocking on his door wanting to give him a taste at a starting job. The Bills would have him compete with E.J. Manuel for that starting gig and could come away with the starting job out of camp.
Here is what Adam Schefter shared about the situation:
"A: Don’t see the Vikings, Jake, but I could see the Jets. I also would not be surprised if, based on their history, the Buffalo Bills made a run at Vick. They’ve had interest in him before, and he could be an ideal quarterback to bring to camp to compete with EJ Manuel and Thad Lewis. Both have flashed, but neither has proved to be the answer just yet. It will not surprise me if the Bills inquire about Vick at the appropriate time. They’ve always liked him and debated pursuing him in the past, and I could see it now. – Adam Schefter"
The possibility makes a lot of sense. Manuel didn’t do anything to secure that starting gig last season and a little competition for the starting job cannot be a bad thing. If Vick wins the job out of camp, then you have the best quarterback starting for the team. Why not give Vick a chance.
