The Jacksonville Jaguars could be looking to select a quarterback later in the draft after re-signing Chad Henne up to a new 2-year contract today. Henne would likely hold down the starting job on the roster this season and then they could help develop a young quarterback that they take later in the draft.
The COULD Be out of the running for a quarterback in the first round, at least that is what is being chatted about among anonymous sources.
League source on #Jaguars: "With Henne back, I don't expect them to take QB until 2nd round and maybe not until 3rd or 4th round."

The Jaguars hold the 3rd selection in the draft and were one of the teams expected to take a quarterback with their top selection. Either Teddy Bridgewater, Blake Bortles or Johnny Manziel was supposed to be wearing Jaguars colors next season. Instead, the team could be looking in a different direction. They also could be blowing smoke up everyone’s tails. That is just the time of the season that we are in.
If the Jaguars were to look at a different position in the draft, they could go a number of directions. They could hope that Clowney falls to them in the draft. Khalil Mack could be an option. They could go for a tackle or also go for Sammy Watkins.
