The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Darrelle Revis will be parting ways soon. The Buccaneers are looking for a trade partner for the veteran corner at the moment, but if they are unable to find any suitors, the team will release him, per Adam Schefter. I don’t know how many teams that are interested on taking on that contract that he has. He is owed $16 million for the coming season and his deal runs till 2018. None of his contract is guaranteed though and releasing him off of the roster would result in no dead money against the salary cap.

There are a number of teams that make sense for going after Revis. The Denver Broncos are a team that could be interested in his services. They have the room under the cap and have a need in the secondary. The Broncos still are hoping to bring back Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, but a deal for Revis could be an option as well.

The Bengals are another team that has room under the cap and has a need for some help in the secondary. If the Buccaneers decide to release Revis off of the roster, I would expect both of these teams to get in on the action.
