A move with Darrelle Revis will be made today. He will either be released off of the roster or he will be traded to another roster. Revis is still one of the top names at the corner position and had a lot of teams interested in his services. Here are a list of teams that have been mentioned in a possible trade for the star corner: Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns.

The hot name right now is the New England Patriots. It makes a ton of sense for them to pick up a new corner after they just lost Aqib Talib to the Denver Broncos at the start of free agency. They want to help their secondary and adding Revis would be a huge upgrade for their defense. He would be a nice fit in New England.

The Browns have been mentioned a lot as well and they are rebuilding their defense over there. They have Joe Haden already on one side and they signed Donte Whitner to play safety and adding Revis onto the roster would be amazing. That secondary would be one of the best in the league with Haden and Revis and they would be able to bring all kinds of heat with their front 7 on quarterbacks.

The Oakland Raiders have a ton of salary cap room to play with and have the ability to add his salary on their roster. They need all kinds of help and the moves that they made at the opening of free agency were not very pleasing to the fans. Here is a name that could turn some frowns upside down.
