The Pittsburgh Steelers are bringing in former Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew for a visit, per Adam Schefter. Jones-Drew is not getting a ton of love during free agency, but the running back position has not gotten a ton of love. The league is looking toward building a good passing game and the running backs are falling short in the free agency pool.

Jones-Drew also struggled the last couple of seasons and there are a few question marks on what he is able to do on the field. He WAS one of the best running backs in the game a few seasons ago, but does he have the legs or feet in order to compete at that high level again?

The Steelers are a team that could bring back that fire in Jones-Drew. Ben Roethlisberger is a veteran quarterback that could benefit by having a solid running back in the backfield to give him some extra time in pass protection. If Jones-Drew could get back some of his magic, then it could be a great signing. MJD did play on a bad Jacksonville Jaguars team for the last couple of seasons and could benefit from a much better surrounding cast and crew. Seems like a nice fit for Jones-Drew.
