Desean Jackson is getting shopped around to different teams and the current asking price is a 3rd round draft pick. There has to be a million teams that want to get in on that action, but his price tag for the next few seasons is out of this world and teams are running low on funds. Jackson would be a huge upgrade to some teams in the passing game. He can burn down the field and open up routed underneath. He is a deep threat and some see him as a top receiver in the league.
The Eagles don’t want him on the roster, but are denying the reports that he is on the trading block. They say that they are just listening to all the offers that are coming through. It doesn’t hurt for them to listen.
There is a report out that is saying that there is NO WAY that Jackson will return for the 2014 season and that he will be traded away well before the start of the NFL Draft. He will be a player to keep your eyes on before the draft, there will be some team that swoops in on that action and adds a dynamic playmaker onto their offense. The Patriots and the 49ers are the only teams that were mentioned as getting involved, but there have to be a few more that are making their moves under the radar.
