The New York Jets added Michael Vick onto the roster and now are looking at another Philadelphia Eagle to join the party. The Jets needed some help at the skill positions and added Eric Decker at one side to handle the duties on offense. Decker still would love to get some help out at receiver and if the Jets are able to add the speed of Desean Jackson onto the roster, they would have the perfect compliment for Decker.
Jets Owner Woody Johnson confirmed his interest in adding the speedster onto the squad, per Ian Rapoport. The dynamic on the team’s offense would be a huge contrast over last season. With Decker and Michael Vick already on the roster, the team’s offense has something nice to work with. They have some pieces that can create big plays and can move the football down the field. Adding Desean Jackson onto the roster would just create a team that can beat teams with the home run. Jackson has that home run threat and Vick knows how to get him the football. Jackson can stretch the field deep and Decker can pick up all the pieces underneath. Seems like a perfect match.
The personality in New York though….
