Before the Cleveland Browns made all kinds of movement in their front office, they were one of the teams that had a huge interest in Johnny Manziel. With the new staff in place, it seems they could care less to buy into that hype. With Johnny Manziel’s Pro Day coming up, the Browns are not even going to have a rep on the field to see how he does, per ESPN.
The Browns still need a lifeline at the quarterback position, but Manziel will not be the guy that they will be looking to run the offense. They will be hitting the draft hard for a quarterback, but expect them to select Derek Carr, Blake Bortles or Teddy Bridgewater with their selection.
Manziel had a ton of hype at the end of the season, but with the draft still a couple of months away. they hype seems to be dying down a bit. He even released a dunk video to keep the hype moving around him, but the fire seems to be cooling off a bit. It will likely build right back up as the draft gets closer.
The Browns will not be at the Pro Day and it likely means that they will not be selecting Johnny Manziel…. or they are one of the best at this LIAR’S SEASON stuff.
