Bill Belichick and 6 members of his staff were out at FSU working out draft prospect Kelvin Benjamin, per Gil Brandt. The Patriots are getting a good look at the wide receiver our of Florida State. They need to see if he would be a good fit for the roster and if he would be a good fit for Tom Brady and the offense. He would be a massive talent to line up on the outside for the team and could open up the routes underneath for Julian Edelman.

Benjamin stands at 6-foot-5, 235 pounds. That is the body of a tight end playing at the wide receiver position. We all know what the Patriots offense is able to do with players that fit that body type and have that type of athleticism. Adding another player onto the roster with that type of build would be huge for the passing game. Benjamin could be available when the Patriots select at number 29, but there is a ton of interest in Benjamin because of his size. If he ends up on the Patriots offense… LOOK OUT!
