And now we see the method to his madness. Now we see why Johnny Manziel was on the field and why the shoulder pads and helmet were on. We see what kind of attention his attire has brought and Nike was all about the love that it was getting. Nike jumped on in and shared this tweet:
Just over $500 for the Manziel outfit for his Pro Day. Jump out there and get that swag right now! Nike is doing it’s thing and making sure to get their name out with Johnny Manziel. Manziel is the big draw at this time and Nike is loving the attention.
For every mention of the helmet and pads on the Pro Day and for all the pics that were sent throughout the internet, it was all a marketing ploy for Nike. GENIUSES.
Manziel can make that money from his sponsors now and he is working his magic. The best money maker for Manziel will be his play on the field though. He will be able to sell poop in a bag if he can kill it on the field.
