Best Fitting Teams
Obviously when looking at which teams Bridgewater would be best suited for, you can immediately eliminate any team with a solid QB or QB who has just received a massive contract extension. For instance teams such as Denver,  San Francisco, Indianapolis and New England can be eliminated right off the bat. That leaves only a handful of teams from which Bridgewater could be chosen. What we know for certain is that the team that selects Bridgewater will need either starting QB needs or maybe back-up QB needs (for future in case starter of 2014 gets injured during the process of the season). Basically that means the Texans, the Browns, the Jaguars, the Vikings and the Bucanneers.

When looking at where Bridgewater will go, I can say with certainty that he will most definitely go during the first round. The question really is when. I believe that Blake Bortles gets picked up at #1, however after that it is really a toss up of who gets chosen. With the fourth overall pick, perhaps the Browns choose an OT fourth and then Bridgewater or Derek Carr 26th overall. Maybe none of those things happens and the Jaguars pick up a QB instead of Jadeveon Clowney. In all honesty I think that the Browns option would be the best option for Bridgewater who will most likely see playing time early on in his rookie season. With Bridgewater’s transition to the University of Louisville from Northwestern he gave up his past dual-threat style of play in exchange for a more accurate and pro-style type of play, (which in this writer’s opinion) is probably the best choice for a long term career in the pros. I wouldn’t be surprised that Bridgewater falls outside of the top-10, however there is no way that he gets out of the first round given his unique skill set and upside as an everyday starter in the NFL.
