Texans GM Likes Khalil Mack Over Jadeveon Clowney

Here is the curve ball that could come with the first overall selection in the NFL Draft. Peter King wrote that the Houston Texans GM Rick Smith likes Buffalo LB/DE Khalil Mack over Jadeveon Clowney. That could turn all kinds of heads with the first pick in the draft. The Texans have done that before with the first pick in the draft and could do it all over again.

Clowney has been the player that many experts believe will be taken with that first selection. If the Texans don’t take Clowney with the first, then many believe they would likely take a quarterback, but now you could throw in Khalil Mack’s name in the hat. Khalil Mack, and not Clowney, could be playing along side of J.J. Watt and the defense.

Remember one thing: This is LIARS MONTH. Anything that is coming out from the “sources” could just be used to throw other teams off. This poker match in the offseason just has a few more weeks left an we can get back to football. All the false rumors can just come to a stop.
