DLo I might not hv to tackle you bc we are going to put 9 in the box bc y’all don’t have any receivers lol

Former Carolina Panthers and current Minnesota Vikings CB Captain Munnerlyn was doing a little bit of smack talk with one of his former teammates D’Angelo Williams over twitter. Some twitter beef. Williams wanted to start a little beef over twitter and called Cap a “cover corner” and that he wouldn’t be able to tackle him. Cap fired back with this gem:

“Going to put 9 in the box because you all don’t have any receivers!” ROASTED!

Former Panthers WR Brandon LaFell was tagged in the tweet as well. He had a good laugh on that roast as well.

There has been a ton of talk about the changing of the wide receivers in Carolina this offseason. The offseason isn’t complete yet and the team is likely going to add some talent through the draft, but it wasn’t going to stop Captain from jabbing his former team with it. Everyone is wondering what the Panthers are going to do at wide receiver. We should find out soon enough.
