Here is the analysis on the selection:
The consensus here is the Chiefs want to trade down in order to add picks later in the draft. Kansas City does not have a second round pick because of the Alex Smith trade and only have six picks in the entire draft. With all of that said, KC would be very pleased to have their choice between Odell Beckham and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix at number 23. John Dorsey would probably lean towards Clinton-Dix because of the depth of wide receiver in this draft. Clinton-Dix would pair will with Eric Berry in KC’s secondary.
