The Jacksonville Jaguars were high on Blake Bortles and there are reports that the team would have taken Bortles even if Jadeveon Clowney slipped down that far in the draft. They don’t care what the other teams around them are thinking, they feel that they have the best quarterback in the draft and are not having any regrets about it.

There was some surprise from the experts in the draft when the team took Bortles with the 3rd selection in the draft, but if they feel that he is a franchise quarterback then they had to make that move.

Chad Henne is going to start out as the starter, but Bortles better be knocking on the door to take over the starting job from him soon. The expectations are going to be high for the young quarterback and the fans are going to expect him to produce.

The Jaguars didn’t get the chance to draft Clowney with the 3rd selection though, so they didn’t have to make that decision.
