Jacksonville Jaguars rookie WR Allen Robinson is out for a couple of weeks with a bad hammy. He pulled up lame during practice and will not be able to get that time on the field with the rest of his team. This will put him back a little bit, but there is still plenty of time for him to get his head in the playbook and observe the rest of the team during practice.

He has a lot of work to do to get up to speed in the league. Rookie wide receivers don’t usually jump into the league and tear the world on fire, but there will be a lot of expectations out of Robinson with the Jaguars.

The Jaguars are looking to move the ball down the field with a lot of young players and some of that young talent will have to step up and make plays during the year. Robinson sitting on the sideline during this time hurts a little. He isn’t getting those reps that are needed. He is not getting that timing down that is needed. He will just have to step back in and work harder when he gets back.
