Miami Dolphins RB Knowshon Moreno admitted that he is not in great shape right now. It is just OTAs, but he has some stuff that he needs to work on.

Here are his thoughts from the Miami Herald:

"“I’m definitely not there,” Moreno said when asked by The Miami Herald if he’s where he needs to be physically. “This is just the beginning. It’s just the beginning, getting your feet wet, and when you have time off, working at those little things, getting back to where you need to be, and once camp comes, it’ll be good.”"

Lamar Miller is taking the bulk of the snaps with the first team during OTAs while Knowshon has been sliding down the depth chart working with the 3rd and 4th string team.

Moreno has to get to work. He won’t be handed the starting job in Miami. There still is plenty of time to get in shape, but he just gave Lamar a head start in the competition.

If Knowshon wants to take the starting role in Miami, he needs to put in the work. Miller won’t back down from the competition. There is going to be a nice battle coming up in training camp.
