Teams were not interested in pulling off a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs for the services of CB Brandon Flowers, but now that he is available to the open market after getting released, he is getting love from a number of teams. Aaron Wilson says that there are at least 10 teams that are interested in bringing in the corner including the Baltimore Ravens, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions. Where was all this love when he was on the trading block?

Flowers had been a member of the Kansas City Chiefs since 2008 and was selected to the Pro Bowl last season. The Chiefs were moving in a different direction though and had been looking to find a trade partner for the 5-foot-10 corner this offseason. Instead, the team decided to release him before training camp and they gave him am opportunity to sign on with another team before the season and training camps opened up.

A number of teams are looking to sign the Pro Bowl corner onto their roster. He would be an immediate upgrade for some team.
