  • Riddick was taken in the 6th round last season out of Notre Dame and has been impressive in his appearances this offseason.

Here are some thoughts from his teammate Joique Bell via NFL.com:

"“His body is in great shape, probably 7% body fat,” Bell said. “You see his route running from out the backfield, it’s really crisp. He looks like a Reggie (Bush).“Just some of the moves you see him do in practice against some of the linebackers. We sit back in the meeting room, we sit back we laugh. He gets them every time with the same move, like you can’t stop it. You can’t stop it.”"

Riddick will have to prove that he can make that type of impact on the field. He did not get many opportunities last season, but he likely will see much more action in the new Lions offense. He figures to be a big option on the team in a 3-headed combination at the running back position. It will be fun to see how the team usees him on the field this season.
