Power Rankings: Top Post-Draft Defenses (21-26)

The draft is over, you know it, I know it, even my grandmother knows it. Now is the time to sit back, relax and analyze the snot out of each and every team’s off-season performance. In this article I will be ranking, from 16-20, the top Post-Draft defenses in the NFL given the circumstances of their draft selections, their performance last season and their overall potential next season. Most of these teams will not surprise you, however there was a little shake up with the spots in the power rankings. With these defensive selections, a lot may not seem to make much sense from the naked eye. That is why I am going to show all of the possible angles that make the individual teams so good. Typically teams with good defenses were given a chance to make the playoffs (typically, not always). People say “Defense wins championships,” and as we saw with the Panthers and 49ers, that sure rung true. Whether it be free agents or draft picks or just current personnel, I will make sure to go through each pick and explain why they deserve your vote as the best in the league.
