It looks like Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater is making a push for the starting job. Matt Cassel is currently at the top of the depth chart, but Bridgewater has been impressive in camp and has offensive coordinator Norv Turner giving him high praise. Turner said that Bridgewater was playing at an awfully high level during a press conference.

"“We need to play Teddy with the first line. We need to mix a lot of players,” Turner said, per Chris Tomasson. “We want to see Teddy play. He needs to play to go through that first time going out.”"
Bridgewater will get his first chance to show off his skills on Friday against the Oakland Raiders. He has worked primarily with the second team on offense and wil lget his chances to start working with the 1s.
It will be fun to see Bridgewater in some game action. If he steps up and makes some big time plays, the fans will be looking for him to get more and more action. He can force the hand of Norv Turner and take the starting job away during the preseason. This is his time to shine.
