New York Jets WR Stephen Hill has not made his presence felt on the roster to this point. He is full of potential with his combination of speed and size, but he has yet to put the things together on the Jets roster. He only has one catch in the preseason and has not shown much of his potential on the field.

Will the potential just fade out. The Jets are in desperate need of playmakers at receiver and would love for Hill to step in and take a starring role with the team, but he hasn’t done much to separate himself from the pack. The presence of Eric Decker on the roster should take away some of the attention on Hill.
Hill also could use some help at the quarterback position. Geno Smith likely will be the starting quarterback again this season. He will have to work on getting the ball out to Hill and his other receivers. Hill could benefit from a better roster around him, but at some point the kid will have to step up and make some plays.
