The Indianapolis Colts nearly completed another upset victory against the Denver Broncos, as Andrew Luck nearly lead another epic comeback victory on Sunday Night Football before the Colts high-powered offense bowed out in a 31-24 loss. It’s going to be all about the passing game for the Colts unless if Trent Richardson turns things around, but they have made aggressive moves to get better on the ground, signing Dion Lewis and working out former Detroit Lions goal-line rusher Mikel Leshoure.

Lewis might get some decent action this week on Monday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles, as Ahmad Bradshaw might be dealing with an injury. The Indianapolis Star’s Stephen Holder reports that Bradshaw was spotted wearing a non-contact jersey at practice today, though Holder isn’t sure why that’s the case.
Bradshaw didn’t seem to suffer an injury while running for 15 yards on just three carries (but with an excellent 70 yards on five catches) against the Broncos, but he’s one of the most injury-prone players in the league, so it wouldn’t surprise anyone if he is dealing with an ailment. I would tentatively expect him to play this week against the Eagles, but we’ll have to wait for more details. Bradshaw is probably the best running back on the Colts roster in terms of performance, and he’s definitely the most consistent; he just isn’t the most likely to stay healthy.
