Former San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Brown has worked out for the Oakland Raiders and things went well during the workout and he could be offered a contract, per Adam Caplan. Brown was released with an injury settlement by the Chargers after the preseason. He sat out the whole preseason with an injury and lost his roster spot with the team.

Brown was the starter with the Chargers last season and didn’t have the impact that many fans thought he would. It was his first time on the field since returning from a devastating ankle injury the previous year. This season he was expected to be moved to the 4th wide receiver role with Malcom Floyd returning from injury and with Keenan Allen taking the leading role on the team, instead he was nursing an injury and was unable to practice with the rest of the roster.
With the Raiders, Brown could be another option for Derek Carr to throw to. Brown doesn’t have breakaway speed, but it is a good route runner. He has to create separation with his route running ability. His injuries have slowed him down though.
