Peterson is facing child abuse charges and could be out for a while during the season dealing with the case. He still will be paid by the team while he is dealing with the case, but will not be able to contribute to the roster.
What a crazy week in the NFL for some star players. Peterson will be sidelined and that will be a big blow against the Minnesota Vikings on the field. He is their workhorse and is the best running back in the league. The team will need to find another way to move the ball down the field.
Was this the right move by the team? Should the league have stepped up on this situation?
