Jordan Cameron Injury: TE ‘feels good’, unsure of status

Cleveland Browns star tight end Jordan Cameron did not practice at all last week after aggravating a shoulder injury in the team’s Week 1 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, though Browns head coach Mike Pettine did list him as questionable in order to hold out hope and keep the New Orleans Saints guessing. Well, the Browns prevailed in an unlikely, thriller of a 26-24 upset, as the running game and passing defense got the job done against one of the league’s best teams in terms of talent.

  • Cameron was a fake questionable last week, but he’s truly questionable for this week’s important encounter with the rival Baltimore Ravens, who shredded the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football after playing with the Cincinnati Bengals in a close Week 1 loss.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Mary Kay Cabot, Cameron stated that his shoulder “feels good”, but he isn’t sure if he’ll be able to make his return this week. Since he was able to practice on a limited basis today, I think Cameron is in good shape to play this week, especially since both teams are 1-1 and in the same division. If Cameron practices on Friday, then he’s guaranteed to play in Week 3 and is already off to a good start where practice status is concerned.
