"Nike in no way condones child abuse or domestic violence of any kind and has shared our concerns with the NFL.We have suspended our contract with Adrian Peterson."
That is some money out of the pocket of Adrian Peterson. The sponsors are stepping in here in a big way. Nike has pulled jerseys off of the shelves and now has suspended the endorsement deal with Peterson.
Anheuser-Busch shared their concerns with the NFL as well with the recent situations.
Peterson has recently been deactivated off of the roster indefinitely and will not be able to attend practice or the locker room until the team activates him back onto the roster. The team plans to keep him off of the roster while he is dealing with the child abuse arrest in Texas. He could be out for a little bit.
