The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will start RB Bobby Rainey on offense today per Rick Stroud. The team is confident in Rainey and like what he is able to provide to the team on offense. Rainey has been the hot hand and the team will likely lean on him as long as he is giving the team quality carries. Doug Martin has had issues with his knees and has not been as productive carrying the ball.

In week 2 against the St. Louis Rams, Rainey took the ball on 22 carries and ran for 144 yards. The team just needs to ride that out as long as they can.
Doug Martin on the other hand has 9 carries for 9 yards this season. Martin had a great rookie season in 2012, but he has yet to live up to those expectations that he set since that year. Last season was a disappointment and he could be losing his starting role by the end of the season to Rainey this year.
