New York Jets WR Eric Decker says that he hopes that he will be able to play on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Decker has been dealing with a bad hamstring and didn’t finish the game on Monday Night. He was able to get on the practice field for a little bit today. It is an encouraging sign for him to get out onto the field. The team would love to have him on the field. They really could use him on the field with WR David Nelson possibly out.

Nelson has missed the last pair of practices with an undisclosed illness. Who knows how long that will keep him out. He still has a few days to recover and get back to the field.
Decker finished with 1 catch for 19 yards last week against the Bears. We will keep an eye on his status during practice for the rest of the week to see if he will be able to participate in the action on Sunday. At this point, it looks like he will be able to get on the field. We just wonder how long he will be able to stay out there with the bum hamstring.
