Arian Foster Injury: Houston Texans RB ‘definitely’ playing
Houston Texans superstar running back Arian Foster carried the rock 55 times in his first two games, but he was unable to add to that total last week against the New York Giants after being ruled inactive with a hamstring injury. Foster was worked hard by Texans head coach Bill O’Brien as the workhorse back in the offense, and it will be interesting to see if O’Brien uses Alfred Blue to spell Foster more often, as Blue had an exceptionally good game against the Giants last week in Foster’s place.

There’s no doubt that Foster is expected to play today, and reports on his status are getting more optimistic by the hour. According to the Houston Chronicle’s tuned-in John McClain, Arian Foster “is definitely” going to play today against the Buffalo Bills, and McClain takes things even further by adding that Foster will get a full workload. His reasoning is that the Texans wouldn’t play Foster if they didn’t feel he is fully healthy (they don’t want to risk him aggravating his hamstring injury, which would be terrible indeed). Therefore, McClain feels Foster will get his usual touches.
That’s great news for fantasy football owners, at least short-term, but I do hope we get to see some more of Blue. Foster definitely needs to be the focal point of a Ryan Fitzpatrick-quarterbacked offense, but it doesn’t make sense to work him to the brink of injury either.
