The Seattle Seahawks are a good squad and they will be competing for the Super Bowl at the end of the year again. Monday Night’s game was a little too close for comfort and Earl Thomas has his own theories on why the game was close.

Here is what he told the Washington Post:

"“I just think it’s Monday Night Football, you know the fans are watching, and everybody wants to see a good game, so they’re gonna try to make it as close as possible,” Thomas told reporters, according to USA Today Sports. “It’s a business.” – Washington Post"

So Thomas thinks that the refs were making this game as close as they could in order to keep it a good show for Monday Night Football. There were a lot of calls by the refs and Percy Harvin did have 3 touchdowns called back. THREE TOUCHDOWNS!!! I am still bitter on that one since he is on my fantasy team and I ended up losing by .5 points in that game.

Anyway, I would hate to have for any of this to be true. I would hate to know that the refs have that much influence over a game and that they would make some BS calls in order to keep the game close.

BUT… it all could be true since they do have that power.
