Jarrett Boykin not practicing, could miss another game
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jarrett Boykin has missed the past two games with a groin injury that he suffered in the Week 3 loss to the rival Detroit Lions, and it seems like he’s been Wally Pipped by rookie Davante Adams, who has far better hands and more natural talent. Boykin was a nice surprise last season after James Jones and Randall Cobb went down with injuries, but he’s been pretty horrible so far this year. Aside from the two absences with the groin injury, Boykin has caught just two passes in three appearances and might have more drops than receptions.

According to ESPN NFL Nation’s Rob Demovsky, Boykin isn’t practicing today, and the ace beat writer believes that he will miss a third straight game. The Packers will take on the Miami Dolphins this week in what should be an interesting game, and I’m sure Ryan Tannehill will be worried about facing the Packers rising pass rush, which tore apart Matt Kalil and the Minnesota Vikings O-Line last week.
Boykin could be out for significantly longer than three games, too, but we’ll have to wait for more updates, including practice updates this week; he still isn’t a lock to miss the Dolphins game. The Packers would like to have him back, but they don’t really need him thanks to Adams.
