Rex Ryan is hoping for a miracle against the Denver Broncos this weekend. After getting shut out by the San Diego Chargers, his team has to face Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.

More from NFL

He is looking for a solution to stopping Peyton. Here are the number of things that he said about his defense:

"“We’ve got to be like that goalie from the Rangers,” Ryan said, referring to Henrik Lundqvist. “We’ve got to stand on our head. We’ve got to play our best game. There’s no question about it. And hope he has an off day. That’s how you stop this guy. In other words, it doesn’t really happen. We’ve got to slow him up. But to say you’re absolutely going to shut this guy down, that’s not realistic. We know we have to be at our very best, and hope like heck it’s a 50-mph crosswind and our fans are having their best game, too, and that’ll be good for us.” – nj.com"

Ryan will come in with a plan to disrupt Manning. He will be throwing a lot of different looks in his direction and hoping that Manning will not be able to dissect them like Philip Rivers was able to do.

The Jets will find a way to get to Peyton. They will be looking to get him off of his mark. Before last week, the Jets had one of the best run defenses in the league and likely will not have to worry about the Broncos run game this week. They don’t have much of a threat in that department.

The Jets will have to blitz and get in the face of Peyton. There is a way to beat him and hitting him will be a good starting point. The Jets have the players to get there. I just don’t know if they have the secondary to hang with guys long enough.

I did check the weather report for the game though. Wind will only be howling at 4 mph.
