Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts is only listed as probable on the team’s injury report after somehow getting in a full practice this week, but some still has some doubts regarding the injury-prone wideout’s status for Week 6. Shorts is still dealing with that nagging hamstring injury, but it looks like he is indeed about as healthy as his probable listing indicates.

ESPN NFL Nation’s Michael DiRocco reports that the 26-year-old “looks good to go” after observing him running and catching passes, and it will be interesting to see how may targets Blake Bortles sends Shorts’s way. Once the team’s unquestioned No. 1 receiver, Shorts may have fallen down the totem pole in favor of intriguing rookie wide receivers like Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns.
Carolina Panthers star tight end Greg Olsen is the best pass-catcher on the team, regardless of what you think about rookie Kelvin Benjamin. Olsen bossed his former team last week and was instrumental in the Cam Newton-led comeback, as Cam’s favorite target hauled in six passes for 72 yards and two TDs, bringing up his season haul to 27-326-4; he continues to be one of the best and most underrated TEs in the NFL.
The Panthers officially listed Olsen as questionable on the injury report with an ankle injury that caused him to miss practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but he returned to the field on Friday and has been expected to play since. According to the NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala, Olsen “looks fine” and was one of the first players warming up; he’s good-to-go.
