Where will Rex Ryan go next? His career with the New York Jets is not even done yet, but it looks like it could be coming to a close with this season going down the crapper. I don’t know how much longer the team will want to keep Ryan around even though they have failed to get him any talent on offense.

There are a lot of people that still have confidence in Ryan as a head coach, but who knows how long he will stick around with the Jets. This could be his last season and many people are predicting it all to come to an end. Especially if this slide keeps on going.
If Ryan were to get the ax at the end of the season, there are going to be some opportunities that could open up. Would he take a season to act as a defensive coordinator or would he jump at the next opportunity? If I were Ryan, I would be a little bit more picky with the next stop. I would find a team that can bring me a good quarterback and then work on the defense. A spot like Detroit could have been perfect for him, but they just made a move for a new QB.
Is Derek Carr a good enough quarterback for Ryan to work with? That opportunity will likely be available at the end of the season. Seems like a decent match if Ryan is in the need for a new opportunity.
