Sometimes in sports you just know when you’re watching something special. Whether it’s in a game or throughout a full season, it just seems like you’re witnessing history. If you’ve watched a Cowboys game this year then you certainly know the feeling. DeMarco Murray, the Cowboys’ starting running back, is putting together one of the most amazing seasons in recent NFL history. Sure, we are only six games into the year, but it’s never too early to understand you’re witnessing history.
Many people consider the running back position a position that used to be important. But that thinking is inherently short-sighted. But in 2014, no one is doing quite what Murray is doing and he’s got the Cowboys ranked quite highly in NFL Spin Zone’s Power Rankings.
Every NFL team has 10 more games to be played this year and a lot of things can happen. But if there is one certainty it’s this, DeMarco Murray is going to win the MVP this year… and here are five reasons why.
