The NFL’s 25 Hottest Players Heading Into Week 7

We are a month and a half into the 2014 NFL season and some players are beginning to take their games to the next level. As the leaves turn and the air begins to chill a few players are beginning to heat up.
Throughout the course of every NFL season numerous players step up and play great ball around the league. Some maintain that high level of play and some see their game fall back to earth after a few weeks. I cannot say which of these 25 players will continue to play at such a high level, but at the moment these 25 are outperforming everyone else in the league at their positions. Some teams are beginning to distinguish themselves as contenders and a lot of these players are at least partly responsible for that. Other players are outperforming their teams’ level of success and couldn’t be left off of this list, despite their team’s uninspired play.
For this list I considered just the last three weeks of competition in the NFL. Statistics, wins, and big plays were analyzed over each players’ last three games. The result of this examination of production is this master list of the league’s hottest players (if a players team was on a bye in the last three weeks we reached back to include their last three games played). These aren’t necessarily the players who’ve put together the best statistics throughout the entire the season, but these are the players that are performing at the highest level right now. Heading into week 7 these are the players that opposing offensive and defensive coordinators are scheming to beat. Which ones will carry their hot play through Week 7 and beyond? We’ll have to wait and see.
