Calvin Johnson plans to sit on the sideline until he can play like the great player that he is. The injury has slowd him down and he has not been able to be productive on the field. so, he is going to wait until he can be that guy again.

"“All I can say is day by day with treatment everything that we’re doing is to strengthen that thing,” Johnson said. “That’s helping, and whenever it heals up, and whenever it feels like I can do all the things I need to do on the field (I’ll be back).” – DetroitLions.com"

How long will that be? Fantasy football owners want to know. The Detroit fans want to know. Matthew Stafford wants to know as well.

The offense just isn’t the same with Megatron sitting on the sideline. How could it be? He draws all the attention to him when he is out there and he makes other people on the field better.

The waiting game on Johnson is here. Hopefully he doesn’t go Derrick Rose on this and sits out forever!
