The Seattle Seahawks have traded Percy Harvin to the New York Jets for a condition pick, per Jay Glazer. The Jets are 1-6 this season and all of a sudden are looking to add more fire power onto their offense.

Harvin is a playmaker on offense and will bring speed and athleticism to the team. The biggest question mark on Harvin is his ability to stay healthy.
Percy Harvin will be joining Geno Smith and Eric Decker on offense now and will add a new dimension to that offense. Harvin would be a threat in the run game and also would be used in the slot. Who knows how the team will want to use him on offense, but they will get a few extra days to work him into the offense.
The Seattle Seahawks did a large part of their run to the Super Bowl last season without Harvin on the roster. They will be looking to make that run this season without him on the roster now.
This trade is a shocker!!
I don’t know what the value of trading Harvin would be at this time. He seems like he would be able to help the Seahawks run to the playoffs, but they are deciding to make that run without him.
I like the Jets on this deal. They added a playmaker on their roster to team with their young quarterback and were in need of some help at the receiver spot. Harvin will be an immediate upgrade on offense and will be able to do a number of things for the team. We will see how the Jets are able to mix him in.
The Seahawks are able to clear some cap space with the move though and will be able to have that extra dough to throw at Russell Wilson when his deal is up.
Percy Harvin to the Jets. Reactions?
