4. Arrowhead Stadium – Kansas City:

Known as one of the loudest stadiums in sports, Arrowhead Stadium took back the ‘loudest crowd’ title from Seahawks fans earlier this year. The stadium underwent a massive reconstruction in 2010, but it maintained its iconic structure and interesting shape. The stadium has been around for decades and has seen some pretty big moments in the NFL.

It has also hosted many big college football games as well. It sits nestled in an eastern suburb (we’ll call it Kansas City) and is routinely considered one of the best game day experiences in the league. It has hosted some soccer matches as well, including a game in which the Kansas City Wizards beat Manchester United 2-1.

3. Soldier Field – Chicago:

Soldier Field, the home of the Chicago Bears, is by far the oldest stadium in the NFL. Although, they’ve ‘only’ played in the stadium since 1971. It’s iconic stature can be seen in the old columns that have stood in place since before the Great Depression. From 2001 to 2003 it underwent an extensive renovation which added modern amenities to its classic feel. It reopened to some mixed reviews, but the renovations were necessary for the Bears to continue to play there.

The stadium sits in a beautiful location in the park district of Chicago’s south loop just minutes from downtown. It has featured a lot of high-profile soccer games including World Cup matches. It also was home to an outdoor NHL game between the Blackhawks and Penguins last winter (pictured above) as well as college hockey games the year before. It is a quite iconic stadium in almost every way.
