Aaron Rodgers Injury: QB at practice
Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is back at practice today, and that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has been following updates regarding the MVP candidate’s hamstring injury. Rodgers’s injury changed the complexion of the team’s Sunday Night Football loss to the New Orleans Saints, as what would have been a classic shootout between Rodgers and Saints star QB Drew Brees turned into a lopsided victory for the Saints that has served as a big momentum booster for Sean Payton’s team. Limited by the injury, Rodgers could no longer avoid the Saints aggressive pass rush dialed by defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, and that just goes to show you how vital Rodgers is to his team’s success.

According to ESPN NFL Nation’s Rob Demovsky, who provides photographic evidence in his tweet, Rodgers is back at practice today, and this means he will be a full-go for this week’s rivalry game against the Chicago Bears. Earlier this year, Rodgers completely demolished the Bears back when their bitter rivals actually looked good. While Jay Cutler threw some bad interceptions, Rodgers made some beautiful throws and finished with a ridiculous 22-28-302-4-0 line, averaging over ten yards per attempt.
For the season, Rodgers has completed 67.6% of his passes with 19 touchdowns and three interceptions, and he should have another monster outing this week after a bye week of rest. The Bears defense is one of the worst in the NFL, as evidenced by the 51 points Tom Brady and the New England Patriots dropped on them two weeks ago.
