2.  Exploit Chicago’s slot corner, Demontre Hurst.

Outside of Kyle Fuller, the Chicago secondary is weak.  The Bears rank 23rd in the league against the pass, allowing 262.3 yards per game, and the performance of Cobb and Nelson in Week 4 should give Green Bay confidence.

The key in Week 10, however, will to be dominate against the slot corner.  Expect Mike McCarthy to move his receivers around in an effort to get Randall Cobb or Jordy Nelson matched up against Hurst over the middle.  If Cobb is able to get comfortable inside, this could also open up some serious opportunities for Davante Adams on the outside.

Going against convention, I think that Green Bay should establish the passing game early, then ease Eddie Lacy in for a big day as the game progresses.  This will, again, force Jay Cutler to throw the football on the other side, and limit the defensive fronts faced by Lacy and James Starks.

Loosening up the secondary could also allow for Green Bay’s Tight Ends to get involved, which is something this offense has lacked through the first half of the season.  Andrew Quarless is the most likely candidate to earn Rodgers’ trust, but Richard Rodgers and Brandon Bostick will get their chances.

If the Packers are able to exploit the struggling Hurst, it should have a domino effect on the Bears defense that will keep Green Bay in a dominant position for the majority of the game.
