Marshawn Lynch, Marquess Wilson Injury Updates
Seattle Seahawks star running back Marshawn Lynch was listed questionable on the injury report with a calf injury, as he did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday before returning to practice on Friday. Lynch’s status was in some doubt, but he usually plays through the pain and is easily one of the NFL’s toughest players, thus most people expected him to play. That expectation grew this morning, and the Seahawks focal point on offense is indeed active today against the Kansas City Chiefs, who will be a tough foe for both Lynch and the ‘Hawks.

So far this season, the former Cal star has racked up 689 rushing yards on 153 yards with over 75 rushing yards per game. He was flat-out dominant last week against the New York Giants, carrying the team to victory behind his 140 rushing yards, four touchdowns, and copious amount of missed tackles in a vintage and smashmouth display.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Marquess Wilson is a high-upside No. 3 guy, and he could help wake up the Bears offense. At the very least, the Washington State product will be much more effective than Santonio Holmes, who was absolutely useless and did not make good on any of the positive offseason buzz. Wilson has better tools than Holmes at this stage, and it will be interesting to see if he can make an impact against the rival Minnesota Vikings. He is indeed active after being activated from the short-term injured reserve on Friday, and it will be exciting to watch him get at it, as the Bears organization seems to be high on his ability.
