The 15 Biggest Games Remaining In The 2014 NFL Season

3. Detroit at Green Bay (Week 17):
The NFC North could certainly come down to a potentially snowy (guaranteed freezing) match-up between the Lions and Packers at Lambeau Field in the season’s final week. What more could NFL fans ask for? Green Bay and Detroit are currently tied for the division lead at 7-3 with six games to play. Unfortunately for the Lions, who are a respectable 3-2 on the road, this game is in Green Bay.
The Packers are 5-0 at Lambeau this year and have looked utterly unbeatable there all season. They’ve scored 31, 42, 38, 55 and 53 points at home in 2014 and the Lions haven’t won in Green Bay since Matthew Stafford was three years old. Is this the year that streak ends against all the odds?
2. Dallas at Philadelphia (Week 15):
Like the game listed in the No. 3 slot, these two teams are both tied atop their division (NFC East) at 7-3. The winner of this game may get the inside track to a home playoff game. If that wasn’t enough drama for you remember that they’re rivals and feature some of the league’s elite playmakers. This game is guaranteed to be entertaining; this is hands down the best game of Week 15 if you ask me.
This game essentially kicks off the final stretch of the 2014 for both of these squads. You can bet that both will be pulling everything out of the playbook they can to secure the win (I’m talking trick plays, new schemes, anything and everything). Philadelphia hasn’t lost at home all year and the Cowboys haven’t lost on the road yet — oh what a clash this will be.
