1. New England at Green Bay (Week 13:
The biggest game left in the 2014 NFL season is definitely New England versus Green Bay. This game will be billed as MVP candidate versus MVP candidate (Aaron Rodgers versus Tom Brady), the hottest team from the AFC versus the hottest team from the NFC and as a potential Super Bowl preview. Although those things may or may not be true, this game will be undeniably important to both teams. And the hype that this game will receive is already justified. How often do titans from opposite conferences meet at such a critical point in the season? Not as often as the NFL would like, which is what makes this game so big.
The Patriots will be looking to take another step toward securing home field advantage in the playoffs and the Packers will be looking just to stay atop their division. A loss for either team could dramatically impact their postseason seeding or worse. This inter-conference game will be one of the best games to watch this season. This is especially true because it will feature Brady and Rodgers throwing the ball in a frigid Lambeau Field. Does it get any better than that football fans?
This is one of those games that even if you’re not a fan of the teams playing you can guarantee you will watch no matter what. How many games can you say that about that don’t involve your favorite team? Which superstar quarterback will step up? Which other stars will shine under the lights? This game has no shortage of talent and it will receive no shortage of attention.
