San Francisco 49ers. 12. team. 42.
It pains me to give the 49ers such a good spot after a quite sad showing vs. the New York Giants on Sunday. While the defenses 5 interceptions were impressive, the passing game was very poor against a very beat up secondary. Gore continues to be very effective in his attempt to keep his promise of making the playoffs. If that promise is supposed to be fulfilled, than Colin Kaepernick needs to start playing better. He needs to use the very talented receiving corps he has around him and guide this team into the playoffs. In order to make the playoffs they must win two out of their three division matchups, otherwise their odds are slim.
. 6-4. Previous:

54.
To many, this ranking may seem far too low for the Eagles, but they really looked atrocious in Green Bay. The biggest factor for me dropping them this far, is that Mark Sanchez displayed his flaws at quarterback. This was the game in which he could prove to everyone that he is a good quarterback and he failed miserable. Sanchez turned the football over four times and simply was awful. Before this game, he play decently against a Texans defense, that was game planned for Nick Foles and then play well against the Panthers, after Special Teams and Defense had already gotten the lead, and therefore Sanchez hasn´t really been that impressive. Their offense has talent, but their defense simply isn´t all that good , as Aaron Rodgers displayed when dissecting them on Sunday. With Nick Foles back, this team has promise, but without him it’s only going to get a wild card seed, if even that.

Sanchez did this: <a href=. 7-3. Previous: . Philadelphia Eagles. 11. team

Another team that disappointed on Sunday! This Sunday was the Colts chance to prove that they were for real this year, but instead they were embarrassed by the Patriots, despite Tom Brady having a below average game. Jonas Gray and the offensive line shredded this defense. The Patriots scored a touchdown on every drive in the second half, until Brady got taken out of the game. On offense they were shut down, as Colby Fleener seemed to be the only player that the Patriots were going to let beat them. Simply put, they were dominated. This Colts team is a pretty good team without a statement win over an established good team, and until they get that, they can´t be ranked higher than this.
. 6-4. Previous: . 36.
It was a bad time for the Seahawks to face one of the best rushing attacks in the league. Give this team some time and they will adjust to the loss of Brandon Mebane. When they are able to adjust, their defense will be fine, but it isn´the dominant force it once was. They have a very difficult remaining schedule as they have 5 division games, and the only non divisional game is at Philadelphia. They have lost a lot of tight games, and they have to figure out a way to win those games in order to make the playoffs. The rumors about Marshawn Lynch must stop as well. Lynch is the guy that is going to get them to the playoffs and they do not want to anger him. They should deal with the situation after the season, but now is not the time.
. 6-4. Previous: .
